COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is creating uncertainty for many of us in our daily lives. We’d like to reassure you that here at Trophy Megastore we’re keeping our operations running as normal and are working together with local and national government and industry partners so you can continue using our services for the foreseeable future. Its important to remember our industry deals primarily with people gathering in areas (opposed to by the government) such as ceremonies and awards nights.
We have a number of already standard policies in place such as
- Keep everything clean
- Sanitising work tools
- Ensuring employees are not ill and are fit for work
- Ensuring employees clean their hands regularly
We have now added extra measures which include
- No direct contact between staff and customers**
- Keeping 1 metre social distancing
- Rear Workshop signed access (outdoor)
- Freedom to wear additional PPE , such as face masks and gloves
- Regular briefs and updates with all staff on conditions
- Longer periods to allow for work to allow for bacteria/virus to die on surfaces
NO DIRECT CONTACT BETWEEN STAFF AND CUSTOMERS
We are urging all customers who visit the premises for perpetual awards to use the rear entrance (see our FIND US page for more information) , this way they can place down their boxes/bags/items on a rear table provided with lists and our staff can keep a 1 metre recommended social distance between them and the items (outdoors!) – Payments can be done the same way. We urge non-perpetual customers to use our website to order trophies and awards.
ALLOW LONGER PERIODS FOR WORK
Due to the nature of this COVID19 Virus, it is been suggested that it can remain on metal for periods of 2-3 days, thus we will not be handling BROUGHT IN (PERPETUAL) trophies until the 4th day of drop off, meaning please allow more time to your order on perpetual visits.
Whilst we are currently instructed to continue as normal by national and local government we will assess EVERY customers requirement individually – we reserve the right to refuse a customer or close up at any time due to, or from fear of, infection to either party.
CO-OPERATION WITH CUSTOMERS
Can we ask that all customers are doing their part in the prevention of the spread, including washing their hands, ensuring that we are made aware of any potential illnesses that have occurred since/before your visit to us and remaining compliant with all national and local requirements that may be put in place during this pandemic.
Our refund policy remains unaffected.
